On May 14th, a group of Kingston High School students will perform the first-ever teen version of #blackstoriesmatter–inspiring stories about Black people surviving, and thriving, in the Hudson Valley–for the school community as well as the general public. The student storyteller participated in a TMI Project true storytelling and memoir writing workshop. The event will include a special guest performance from CCE’s Award-Winning Energy Dance Company!

Free & Open to the Public

The #blackstoriesmatter @ Kingston High School program is funded by the Kingston City School District’s Family and Community Engagement Program, a New York State My Brother’s Keeper Initiative.
